Star Wars: The Old Republic Increased Daily Resource Dies Earned in Update 7.1.1

Bioware will release the 7.1.1 update for Star Wars: The Old Republic at 1 p.m. today. This patch implements changes that players will love – one of which is the increased number of daily resource dice earned.

The matrix of daily resources in SWTOR, for the uninitiated, is a resource that allows players to upgrade their gear. It’s a pretty good resource to cultivate, especially for those who are still adapting their characters.

In the upcoming 7.1.1 update, the influx of daily resource matrices is increased from the following sources:

  • The Needy Group Search role rewards 10 DRM (down from 5).

  • World bosses reward 8 DRM on kill (instead of 3).

  • Assignment “[WEEKLY] Priority Targets” rewards 40 DRM (was 20).

  • Weekly Missions for Heroic Zones reward 40 DRM (was 20).

  • Weekly Missions for Daily Zones and Conquest Events reward 50 DRM (was 25).

There are two main reasons why Bioware is implementing the changes mentioned above. First, it will reduce the number of daily and heroic missions required for players to upgrade their gear. And secondly, players now have more options to mine said currency.

Another major change in Update 7.1.1 is that the number of slots in the Outfitter has been doubled, essentially giving players 32 slots to work with instead of 16.
